We know that choosing the right Optic is not an easy task and here at TacticalScope we will never leave you with a scope that is not right for your requirements.
It's not always possible to get to a shop to check a scope and even if it is even then you can't be certain it will be what you need in operational conditions. Sometimes only decent range or field time can tell.
If you have any doubt over your choice then our 90 DAY SCOPE OUT GUARANTEE allows you to go with the scope yoo think is best but are not 100% certain about.
We will swap out any optic purchased from us within 90 days of delivery and exchange it for another brand, size, style that better suits your needs
The Scope Out Guarantee has been designed to allow you to fully evaluate your scope for a period of 90 days to ensure it fully meets your needs.
Naturally there are some rules and limits to this, read on to learn more.
Note - the video here is our partner site Opticswarehouse where the SOG is 60 days. Tacticalscope is 90 days but apart from the number of days all video details are the same.
The important small print bits
We cannot exchange or credit any order that has been purchased through Klarna. Any returned orders that were purchased via this method must be refunded and the customer will have to go through the Klarna process again on a future order. Because of this, we are unable to offer SOG or exchange options on orders purchased through Klarna.
This enhanced exchange policy allows you to make an informed decision on magnification, reticle and overall specification of the optic to ensure scope does not fit your needs better. This is limited to one exchange per optic purchased within a 90 day period.
We won’t leave you with the wrong optic. All you will need to do is cover the cost of the postage of the unwanted optic and the delivery charge of the new unit.
Optics being returned to us entitled for the 90 Day Scope Out Guarantee need to be returned in a reasonable re-sellable condition as they will need to be resold as a used item at a reduced price.
So, no the Scope Out Guarantee is not a carte blanche where you can take the scope to "war" and send back a very used unit. We cannot take Optics back with crimps marks, dings or damage caused within the specified 90-day period. The Optic will need to be clean and returned with its original box, paperwork and instructions.
So if you are planning to assess your scope under the SOG please plan in advance. Keep all the packaging and paperwork. Unpack very carefully. Mount and use with care. Yes, we know there may well be mount marks but what we can't accept is actual damage, for example, over torqued mount rings that have damaged the tube.
If an alternative optic cannot be found at the time of your return, your original purchase will be left in credit until a suitable alternative is obtainable. If the replacement optic is cheaper than the original purchase the customer is supplied the cheaper optic but the remainder of the original payment is either left in a credit or can be spent on alternative goods. It cannot be refunded.
Please note this does not affect your statutory rights and if the unwanted Optic is returned back to us within the statutory 14-day period in new condition without damage or scratches you are entitled to a full refund. The Scope Out Guarantee is in addition to your normal statutory rights and does not affect your statutory rights.

When does the 90 Day S.O.G not apply?
Klarna paid orders - see above.When the Optic is a special/custom order specifically to your own specifications
When the price/order has been specifically tailored for you and a unique one-off package price has been agreed upon
When the returned unit has been returned in a condition deemed un-sellable by our team; excess damage or crimped tube etc.
The 90 day exchange period has been passed. The 90 Day Exchange Period starts from the date you receive the item, not when you start to use it.
The customer has already used the Scope Out Guarantee in the stated 90-day period. A record of Scope Out Gurantee exchanges will be kept.
90 Day S.O.G Example
Customer purchases BRAND X 4-12×50 AO Mildot for Field Target Shooting and then after testing for 45 days realises that he/she has purchased the wrong Optic and in fact requires a greater magnification range for the style of Shooting he/she is undertaking.
The customer completes the form below providing as much information as possible and explains they need a wider magnification range for Field Target Shooting.
Providing we (TacticlaScope) approve the application once we receive the Optic(s), we will make contact with the customer via phone or email with an outcome.
As the Scope is covered by the Scope Out Guarantee and is in as new condition, the customer is able to exchange and upgrade their Scope for BRAND Y 10-50×60, which is more suited for Field Target Shooting.
The customer prints their email copy of the form below and includes, then returns the Scope back in a decent re-sellable condition with the original box and paperwork.
The unwanted Optic will be returned back to us at the customer’s own cost and examined and checked before the replacement unit is sent out at the customer's cost.
The returned unsuitable Scope has been checked by our team and meets the requirements of the Scope Out Guarantee and what was described on the form.
The payment for the more suitable replacement unit and return postage is taken and the Scope is sent to the customer.
The customer receives the new unit and now has a Scope that is more suited for them rather than having to use or sell the previously incorrect item.
