A one piece mount is a scope mount ring that is s single unit. Good with heavy recoil as there is more grip. But will not fit tops with magazines and mostly (with a few exceptions) too long to fit compact scopes. Scopes that haver no objective bell e.g., a 1-4x28 are one exception.
If you have a compact scope with objective bell and want a one piece you need measure the distance between the ocular (eye) and objective. You find for example, it is 100mm Then look up a 1 piece, if the distance stated for that mount is 110mm between rings then clearly the scope is too short.
